Cancer is a fucker. My husband lost his father to it, and last year I lost a friend to the disease shortly after my best friend was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. The pain she has experienced throughout chemo and continued treatment is something no one should ever go through. Her courage and strength throughout has blown me away.

I’ve made a series of 10 unique drawings at £95 each to highlight the bravery of anyone who is and has been affected by cancer, and the unconditional love and support that is shared between friends and family despite the pain and struggle. In dark times there can be areas of real beauty.

My other darling friend, who has been there throughout this journey and whose husband was also diagnosed last year, is running the Paris marathon this April for Cancer Research and all proceeds from the sale of these artworks will be donated to the cause.
